Built by someone who actually trains and hunts

FieldMarx exists because I needed it.

I spent years frustrated with disconnected tools—maps here, notes there, data everywhere. I wanted one place to plan training setups, visualize retrieves, and build on what actually worked. So I built it.

The Why

Training your retriever (or preparing for a hunt) requires planning, repetition, and honest record-keeping. But progress gets lost in notebooks, phone photos, and fuzzy memories. You run the same drill three times and can't remember what worked last month. You tweak your setup but have no baseline to compare against.

FieldMarx solves this by keeping everything in one place. Your setups, your notes, your results. Over time, patterns emerge. You see what actually moves the needle. Training becomes deliberate instead of random.

Built from Real Experience

FieldMarx isn't theory. It's built on real retriever training and hunt test experience. Every feature exists because someone needed it in the field—not because it sounded good in a meeting.

Focused on Setups, Retrieves, and Progress

FieldMarx does three things well: help you build training setups, track every retrieve, and measure your progress over time. We stay focused on those core tasks instead of trying to be everything to everyone.

This focus means fewer distractions, simpler workflows, and tools that actually work in the field when it matters most.

Still Building

FieldMarx is actively improving. New features are being added based on real feedback from trainers and hunters using it every day. If you have ideas, we want to hear them. The best features come from people in the field, not ivory towers.
